TVBS News Network reported on June 18, 2024, at 10:44 am that a power outage occurred in Internal Medicine at 11:18 am due to a line trip, affecting 655 households, but power was restored at 12:26 pm after emergency repairs by Taiwan Power Company. Although Taiwan Power Company preliminarily attributed the issue to 'faulty underground cables,' Yuda CEO Huang Renxun recently emphasized the need for sufficient power for 'AI supercomputers,' with Yuda's branch located in Internal Medicine. Despite concerns, the Minister of Economic Affairs clarified that the power outage was not due to a lack of power.
