After the bipartisan parliamentary reform bill passed, there has been talk of recalling lawmakers in Taiwan. Currently, Keelung Mayor Xie Guoliang's recall process is in its second stage, with 80% of the required signatures already collected. Media veteran Huang Yangming warns that if Xie is successfully recalled, a nationwide recall movement may ensue, with several civic groups already threatening to recall KMT legislators.
