On June 26, 2024, DPP caucus leader Ko Chien-ming led legislators to the Judicial Yuan to apply for constitutional interpretation. The Legislative Yuan passed the Parliament Reform Act and rejected the Executive Yuan's motion for reconsideration, with 51 DPP legislators being the first to apply for constitutional interpretation and temporary relief to the Constitutional Court today, followed by the Presidential Office, Executive Yuan, and Control Yuan also preparing to apply. The Constitutional Court has already computer-assigned the case 'Constitution-Legislative,' but is awaiting the submission of application documents from the other three branches before proceeding with the review. The urgency of the case could lead to a ruling as early as next week.
