On July 10, 2024, the Constitutional Court will discuss the suspension of the parliamentary empowerment bill. The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) representatives for the hearing include legislators Ko Jian-Ming, Wu Si-yao, and Chung Chia-pin. The Kuomintang (KMT) will be represented by legislators Wu Tsung-hsien and Weng Hsiao-ling, and the People First Party by legislator Huang Kuo-chang. The hearing will focus on the necessity and scope of the temporary disposition. Each of the four agencies will have 30 minutes to present their opinions, while the designated agency, the legislative yuan, will have 30 minutes, followed by a 60-minute Q&A session, with the entire hearing to be live-streamed.
