Under Blue and White cooperation, the parliamentary reform reconsideration proposal was suppressed; the Presidential Office, Executive Yuan, DPP Legislative Caucus, and Control Yuan plan to petition for constitutional interpretation to block the new law. KMT legislator Lin Pei-Hsiang expressed disappointment in an interview, stating that the ruling DPP authorities simply do not care about the voice of the people. This marks the first large-scale constitutional interpretation case, with concerns over parliamentary reform being blocked by vested interests and the ruling party, essentially nullifying decades of hard-fought progress and denying the representation of public opinion.
