The Consumers' Foundation announced today that they will be filing a group lawsuit for the victims of the poisoning incident at Baolin Tea House. The incident resulted in the loss of 6 lives and left 24 victims with varying degrees of injuries. The foundation has begun accepting submissions and will proceed with the lawsuit once a sufficient number of plaintiffs have been appointed and all necessary pre-litigation preparations have been completed. The deadline for victims to join the group lawsuit is July 31, and the foundation estimates that the compensation claim could exceed one hundred million dollars within 3 months.
