As the economy in Mainland China remains sluggish, the 618 shopping festival hosted by e-commerce platforms saw a decrease in consumer spending, reflecting weakened purchasing power. In response to the economic downturn, both domestic and Western luxury brands have begun reducing prices to clear inventory.
