Guangxi has been experiencing continuous rainfall since April, leading to severe flooding at the Guilin train station and hospitals. The tropical storm Mei has caused new waves of heavy rain in Guangxi, including cities like Guilin, Liuzhou, and Hechi, breaking historical rainfall records. The region faced its worst flooding in 26 years, with the train station and hospitals severely inundated. An advance warning has been issued for areas like Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, Chongqing, and Guizhou to prepare for heavy rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, and hail as the rainy season moves northward. The situation remains critical in flood-affected regions.
