The recent controversy over the seating arrangement at a baseball game held at the Taipei Dome has resurfaced the issue of 'ball-eating' seats, with Mayor Jiang pointing out that the seats were installed during Former Mayor Ko's tenure, prompting criticism from former Deputy Mayor Huang. Apart from the Taipei Dome, the Taipei Performing Arts Center has also faced criticism for narrow seat spacing and is set to wait until 2028 for replacements, leaving the public enduring another 4 years. Despite both venues being constructed during Ko's term, Mayor Jiang's administration has been criticized for lacking proactive measures to address these seating issues.
