This came after a million-follower influencer, Pote King, revealed plans to invite Taiwanese influencers to China to promote Chinese culture, leading to scrutiny of Chiu and others creating travel content in China. Chiu's statements drew criticism from fellow influencer 'Half-hearted Hipster,' who sarcastically questioned the relevance of her comments, highlighting the tensions between Taiwan and China. Singer Hsiao He-sheng also joined in the criticism, indicating that the issue of Chinese influence operations will continue to be a hot topic.
