In Tainan, a couple went to a jewelry store on June 30 to buy new rings and resize them, but attempted to bargain down the price by over NT$1,000, leading the boss to politely decline the sale. The customers then left negative reviews on Google, resulting in the store owner explaining that the bargaining was unreasonable and expressing regret for speaking loudly during the disagreement. The customers were upset by the incident and the perceived change in the boss's attitude from friendly to dismissive.
