On June 26, 2024, KMT legislator Hsu Chiao-hsin 'surveilled' outside the DPP caucus. During a DPP caucus press conference regarding the legislative exercise law and the penal code with 7 constitutional explanations, Hsu went there to support fellow legislator Chen Yu-chen, causing chaos by measuring 100cm near the DPP caucus press room and questioning if this was 'surveillance.' This led to a dispute between media and Hsu, as Chu Jui-Hsiung later remarked sarcastically that if they wanted the cameras, they should come to their side. This incident occurred amid ongoing tensions between the KMT and DPP over constitutional issues and media involvement.
