During the ongoing Jones Cup women's basketball tournament, the dispute over tournament fees between men's and women's basketball teams remains unresolved. The men's team has vowed to support the female players by accepting the reduced NT$3,000 fees if the decision is upheld by the union. Despite the ongoing controversy, the union affirmed that the commitments made for the Jones Cup tournament will not change.
