Three solid recovered fuel (SRF) factories set to enter the Taoyuan Science Park faced a setback when the city government revoked their installation permits in March. The Ministry of Economic Affairs overturned the city government's decision last week, leading to criticism from the Kuomintang faction at the Taoyuan City Council. Former DPP lawmaker and current Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Justice, Huang Shih-chieh, responded with a detailed Facebook post criticizing the city government's flawed revocation of the permits, stating that the decision lacked legal basis. He expressed gratitude for the support of his constituents and emphasized the importance of addressing public needs over engaging in political rhetoric.
