Controversy Explodes Over 'Love Seat'! Why Do Elders Think It's Exclusively for Them? Revealing the Real Reason

Reported 8 months ago

Recently, conflicts over 'Love Seats' have been escalating, with incidents like an office lady being forced to give up her seat and a young man refusing to give up his seat due to feeling unwell but being scolded and even physically attacked by elders. The concept of 'Love Seats' originated in 1975 when then Premier Chiang Ching-kuo suggested the idea to emphasize moral values during bus rides and later, as a commemoration of President Chiang's passing, 'Love Seats' were introduced on public buses in Taipei. The recent disputes have led to discussions online with many questioning the necessity of these designated seats if people were respectful in general.
