According to SET News, social media influencer Potter Wang recently revealed that over 10 Taiwanese internet celebrities were invited to travel to China for free and shoot videos starting late July. Many internet celebrities, including travel Youtuber Xiaoxiang, were called out. Xiaoxiang responded boldly on Instagram, sharing screenshots of the controversy and private messages she received. Facing attacks from netizens, Xiaoxiang expressed bewilderment over an old video resurfacing, stating she had merely transited through Sichuan on her way to Russia, and questioned the sudden backlash. She continued to post on IG and made statements about trusting believers and sticking to faith amid the continuous negative publicity she has faced over the past year.
