During the Legislative Yuan's review of the parliamentary reform bill on June 21, outside the venue, supporters were rallying for the 'Blue Eagle Action,' organized by the blue camp. However, a person was seen raising a Nazi flag on-site, leading to accusations by a Green Party legislator questioning if the Kuomintang (KMT) were followers of Nazism. The KMT condemned these accusations, clarifying that the group raising the Nazi flag had different objectives from the 'Blue Eagle Action' and were related to the 'German Old Mark Association,' seeking reparations unrelated to parliamentary reform. The KMT criticized the lack of fact-checking by the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and urged DPP Chairperson Lai Ching-te to stop spreading falsehoods about parliamentary reform to promote transparency and democracy in Taiwan.
