NTUST's Materials and Chemical Engineering department was embroiled in controversy when a student, originally from the undergraduate program, received an offer for the master's program in the morning but had it retracted in the evening due to an alleged administrative error, causing significant distress. Despite efforts to resolve the issue with the school, the student was left unsatisfied and eventually turned to legal action to seek justice, with the case now progressing through the judicial system.
