During the interpellation of Premier Su Tseng-chang at the Legislative Yuan on June 14, 2024, the controversy over the Parliament Power Amendment was discussed. The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) introduced an AI chat system named 'ChatDPP' to address related questions, with the AI claiming the reform bill was just. Nationalist Party (KMT) legislator Chen Ching-hui tested the AI and found discrepancies. Premier Su denied rumors and mentioned some information provided by ChatDPP was incomplete. KMT legislator Liao Hsiang questioned why the Executive Yuan proposed a review if ChatDPP confirmed justice, to which the premier responded that AI may have errors and party standpoints should be announced through official channels.
