A conflict occurred on a Kaohsiung MRT train on June 28, where a 23-year-old man with disabilities named Li was physically assaulted by two men for sitting on a priority seat. The situation escalated when Li reacted and was mistakenly apprehended for intimidation, which was corrected after video evidence surfaced online. Mental health physician Yang Congcai pointed out that Li's behavior could be influenced by factors such as sensory overload, communication difficulties, sudden changes, anxiety, and emotional control issues, potentially leading to serious consequences if not understood and managed properly.
