Deputy Minister of Justice Huang Shijie criticized the Taoyuan City Government for not seriously stating the reasons for rescinding the permits of three solid recovered fuel (SRF) plants, which led to the Ministry of Economic Affairs revoking the decision. Taoyuan City Government's Public Information Director Luo Chudong countered, calling Huang Shijie's logic contradictory. The dispute arose after the Economic Affairs Ministry revoked the city government's decision, sparking tensions between local and central authorities.
