Sun Peng's son Sun Anzuo, known for various controversial incidents including alleged school threats in the US and causing trouble in Thailand, was spotted carrying a gas gun in Taipei's Xinyi District on June 16, raising concerns over potential illegality. Following a search at Sun Anzuo's residence where gunpowder, weapons, and gaming guns were found, he was brought in for questioning by the police, accompanied by his father. Meanwhile, Sun Anzuo's manager, Zhu, was arrested for alleged assault on the police during questioning. Sun Anzuo was subsequently interrogated by Taipei prosecutors and suspected of violating gun control laws, necessitating a bail payment of 300,000 NTD and parental responsibility. The incident sparked online criticism of Sun Anzuo's behavior, labeling him as a repeat offender. Authorities are further investigating the seized weapons and powder for their potential harm to determine legal consequences for both Sun Anzuo and Zhu, highlighting the ongoing societal concern and discussions on gun violence prevention.
