The National Science and Technology Museum in Kaohsiung planned a Terracotta Army exhibition where visitors can simulate special effects through photos, but the photo recognition software used was from China, displayed Simplified Chinese characters, and one of the co-organizers was the Chinese Song Qingling Foundation, raising suspicions of united front activities. Kaohsiung city councilor Zhang Boyang raised cybersecurity concerns. The museum has requested the closure of two questionable interactive experiences and confirmed if the software is Chinese-developed and whether there is any data upload. The museum emphasized its commitment to using Taiwan-made equipment and temporarily suspended certain activities until clarifications are made.
