During the 35th Golden Melody Awards ceremony, various incidents occurred, such as technical glitches during performances and winner's speech being censored, sparking controversies. KMT legislator Wan Meiling raised concerns over TTV winning the bid to host the awards repeatedly despite frequent mistakes. She urged the Ministry of Culture to investigate and provide a review report. The Ministry explained that the high cost of hosting the awards and limited bidders contribute to TTV's consistent bid wins. DPP legislator Guo Yuqing also criticized the handling of winner's speech censorship, calling for a formal explanation and accountability.
