As the summer approaches and temperatures rise above 30 degrees, many households are already turning on their air conditioners for relief. Taiwan Power Company advises people to do two things before using the air conditioner to make the cooling more efficient and save energy: opening windows for heat to escape and cleaning the filters. By following these steps, electricity consumption can be reduced by approximately 10% per year. Additionally, using fans in conjunction with the air conditioner and setting the temperature to 26-28 degrees can further enhance the cooling effect and save electricity.
