As July Fourth weekend approaches in the U.S., many Americans are preparing to host celebrations. Yahoo Finance reports that hosting Fourth of July cookouts will be more costly this year due to inflation. Americans are expected to spend an average of $90 on food alone, which is $3 less than last year. The cost of beef is up by 4.9%, hot dogs by 7.3%, but chicken is only 1.4% higher. Consumers are advised to shop smart, opt for value deals, and consider buying in bulk at retailers like Walmart, Target, Costco, Sam's Club, and B J's Wholesale Club to get the most for their money.
