The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a warning about a power bank sold at Costco with over 550,000 units sold, citing burn and fire hazards. The myCharge POWER HUB All-In-One 10,000mAh power banks with serial numbers ending in 21, 22, or 23 sold between January 2022 and November 2023 are being recalled. The CPSC has received reports of overheating during charging, with 120 incidents reported and 2 causing house fires resulting in property losses of about $165,000 each.
