In Taipei City, 22 high-risk police stations have been identified by the police department following an incident where a 34-year-old man crashed into a guard post in New Taipei City, resulting in the death of an on-duty officer. Councilor Chung Pei-chun called for a reassessment of the guard posts, pointing out that some still pose significant risks. Evaluation of the identified high-risk stations is ongoing, with measures being implemented to ensure the safety of police officers on duty.
