On July 7, 2024, Wenshan Second Police Precinct in Taipei conducted basic training for 119 civic defense volunteers and 141 civic defense personnel in response to the annual training requirements. The training focused on survival skills during emergencies, emergency first aid, air defense and evacuation knowledge, traffic control, and legal provisions for volunteers' welfare. The precinct aims to enhance the volunteers' sense of duty, assist in maintaining local security, and prepare for the upcoming Wanan Exercise on July 23. The exercise will involve crowd and traffic control measures, and the precinct encourages active participation to ensure its success and maintain public safety in the area.
