Counterfeit Goods Market at Tamsui Market: Man Arrested for Selling Fake LV and Nike Products Worth Over 2 Million, 400 Items Seized by Police

A 25-year-old man surnamed Jiang in Tamsui's Qingshui Street market in New Taipei City was caught selling a large quantity of counterfeit LV, Gucci, and Nike clothing, shoes, and hats at low prices ranging from NT$300 to NT$1,100, attracting unsuspecting consumers. Police seized nearly 400 counterfeit items on the spot and will transfer him to the district prosecutor's office for further investigation. The police are also tracing the source of the goods to prevent them from entering the market. The estimated infringing value of the LV products alone is over NT$2 million, and the man may face heavy fines and legal consequences for his actions.
