Recently, there has been an increase in confirmed COVID-19 cases in Taipei City, leading to a situation where hospital beds are becoming scarce in some medical centers. The Taipei City Health Bureau reported 79 new cases in the past week, up from 53 the week before, but assured that medical resources are sufficient with available isolation beds and antiviral medications. However, there is a tight bed situation in 8 medical centers, with different hospitals experiencing varying levels of strain on their resources.
