Recent reports show that Taipei City is facing a rise in COVID-19 cases, with 79 new cases reported from June 16 to 22, compared to 53 cases the previous week. The Health Bureau revealed that as of June 26, there is a 30% vacancy rate in the 21 hospitals monitored for isolation bed usage, with no significant changes in the past two weeks. The city has sufficient stock of antiviral drugs for COVID-19 treatment, and medication allocation will be adjusted based on consumption rates. Additional measures are being implemented to ensure the availability of flu antiviral drugs and increase vaccinations to combat the ongoing epidemic.
