The domestic COVID-19 situation in Taiwan has entered another wave, with the Health Promotion Administration planning to distribute 3 million home rapid tests at around 2,000 clinics nationwide, starting in July. The tests are expected to expire by the end of this year or January next year, with a total budget of NT$4.2 million. The CDC emphasizes the importance of timely testing to distinguish COVID-19 infections, as confirmed cases are increasing, particularly with more severe symptoms observed recently.
