In a CPBL game between Uni-President Lions and CTBC Brothers, Chen Sheng-ping, the first-round draft pick in 2024 by Uni-President Lions, got his first hit of the season in his fourth at-bat after returning to Taiwan. Facing CTBC Brothers' pitcher De Paula, Chen struck out twice in his first three at-bats. In the 8th inning, he hit a single into right outfield off pitcher Chen Hu, marking his first hit since returning to CPBL and the second player selected in the 2024 draft to get a hit. The game drew 15,770 fans to the Taipei Dome.
