Fubon Guardians selected Chang Yu-cheng as their top pick in the CPBL midseason draft. He is expected to return to Taiwan in early July, with hopes of joining the team for home games in either Xinzhuang or the Taipei Dome. The Guardians are eager in the second half of the season, with the team manager expressing a strong competition spirit. The team drafted two overseas players in the first two rounds and is aiming high for the upcoming games. Lin Hua-wei, the Guardians' manager, also shared his excitement for selecting players from Taiwan Sports University in the later rounds of the draft.
