On June 7th, Lamigo Monkeys' cleanup hitter, Fan Kuo-Chen, suffered an unexpected injury when changing rooms between innings, twisting his foot. Due to this, Dong Tzu-En will assume the fourth spot in the lineup, with Wang Nien-Hao serving as the designated hitter. Although Fan may rest for a couple of days due to swelling, he will continue preparation off-field. Lamigo Monkeys' head coach Chen Chin-Feng denied rumors that Kong Kuo-lin will replace Fan in the cleanup spot and announced the recent lineup with Dong Tzu-En taking the fourth spot.
