Reported about 1 year ago

Uni-President Lions broke their 5-game losing streak, bringing their magic number to clinch the first-half championship down to M5. Despite recent setbacks, the league-leading Uni-President Lions defeated the CTBC Brothers at the Tainan Municipal Baseball Stadium, halting their losing streak, while another team, the Rakuten Monkeys, was defeated by the Wei Chuan Dragons, contributing to the Uni-Lions' path to the championship. After a strong start to the season, the Uni-Lions had their magic number drop to M8 on June 9, followed by recent struggles resulting in a 5-game losing streak. With the help of other teams, their magic number currently stands at M7. The team made adjustments in coaching and successfully defeated the Brothers with a score of 11-2. The Uni-Lions' magic number to clinch the first-half championship is now down to M5 with the Dragons' 7-run single inning against the Monkeys.
