In response to recent reports of people queuing up to buy properties due to influencer marketing creating a frenzy, the Ministry of the Interior in Taiwan is urging real estate developers and sales agencies to self-regulate and avoid spreading misinformation or creating buying frenzies. The ministry will conduct joint inspections with local governments and may impose fines of up to 50 million NT dollars on violators. They caution against using tactics like hunger marketing to manipulate buyers and advise the public to evaluate their financial capacities rationally to avoid falling for improper marketing strategies.
