Cravings Could Indicate Nutrient Deficiencies! Doctor Reveals Body Signals from '4 Foods'

Reported 12 months ago

Many people experience sudden cravings for specific foods, but Dr. Hsu Shu-hua from Book Heart Health Management Clinic points out that such cravings may be signals of nutrient deficiencies. Cravings for sweets, meat, fried foods, and soda often indicate lacking specific nutrients in the body. Dr. Hsu suggests consuming foods like apples, broccoli, black beans for sugar cravings; red meat, spinach, and blood products for meat cravings; oranges, fungus, olives for fried food cravings; and cheese, milk, small fish for soda and coffee cravings. Emotions and stress are also often linked to cravings, so understanding one's emotional state is crucial in addressing cravings besides improving nutrient intake.
