Croatian startup Project 3 Mobility, founded by the creator of Rimac Group, unveiled its self-driving robotaxi named 'Verne' for a planned 2026 launch in Zagreb. The two-seat electric vehicle aims to offer a luxury car experience in a compact size with high safety and comfort. Powered by self-driving software from Mobileye Global, the startup has secured contracts with Zagreb and other cities globally. The factory for manufacturing the vehicles will be constructed on the outskirts of Zagreb, with significant funding from private investors and the European Union.
