The 15th Cross-Strait Film Exhibition was opened today at the Taoyuan Qingpu Shin Kong Cinemas, with a delegation including Mainland China's former Vice Chairman of the Radio and Television Administration, Zhang Pimin, leading actors Zhang Yi, Wei Chen, Da Peng, Wang Dalu, and directors Dong Runnian, Liu Yulin, Shen Ao, and more than 20 others in attendance. The films being shown include the mainland blockbuster 'Once Upon a Time in Vagueness', with Wang Dalu playing a lead role. Wang Dalu clarified that he does not gamble despite his character's involvement in gambling in the movie, emphasizing his 'goodness,' although jokingly noting that no one seems to believe him. Various films from both sides of the strait were showcased, promoting cultural exchange and collaboration between the film industries of Taiwan and Mainland China.
