ILA President Harold Daggett emphasized the union's commitment to keep working on passenger cruise vessels to avoid inconveniencing families who have planned vacations well in advance. Major ports like Port Everglades and Port Miami reported that their cruise and petroleum operations remain unaffected by the strike.
