CTBC Leading in Marine Eco-conservation with Directors Initiating Seagrass Restoration

On July 3, 2024, at 4:10 pm, CTBC actively participated in sustainability by supporting the establishment of a seagrass restoration gene bank by the Penghu Fisheries Research Center. Directors and executives of CTBC visited a seagrass restoration area in Penghu and planted 1,500 seagrass plants, released 50,000 farmed swimming crabs, and joined in marine conservation activities to support UN Sustainable Development Goal 14. CTBC's focus on charity, sports, anti-drugs, education, and arts, along with its commitment to environmental and biodiversity issues, was highlighted. Through various initiatives, CTBC aims to cultivate sustainable awareness, protect marine ecosystems, and promote eco-conservation concepts.
