During a legislative session, Kuomintang lawmaker Yeh Yu-chih questioned the Ministry of Culture's allocation of 8 million for cracking down on ticket scalping, pointing out the connections between the winning bidders and the Green Party, questioning their effectiveness. Yeh suggested reallocating some funds to cultural assets and highlighted the upcoming concert of another superstar, Andy Lau, as another event the Ministry should monitor for scalping issues beyond just issuing contracts.
