Yesterday, a customer posted on the internet forum 'PTT' that he found a cockroach in his ice cream red tea at a chain beef meat shop at South Harbor Station on the evening of the 29th. The customer bit into the foreign object after a few sips and realized it was a cockroach, which he then spat out, feeling disgusted. The shop explained that they sprayed new cockroach repellent on Thursday (June 27), causing the cockroach to emerge. Dissatisfied with the explanation, the customer criticized the lack of sincerity and the shop's crisis handling ability. The company, Tokyo Beef, later issued an apology on its Facebook page, contacted the customer, and promised to improve environmental hygiene and staff training to ensure food safety.
