A couple in Tainan visited a jewelry store on Ximeng Road to exchange their old ring for a new one, but negotiations fell through as they tried to haggle for a price reduction. The store owner asked them to go elsewhere when they couldn't agree on a price, resulting in the customers leaving a one-star negative review. The couple accused the owner of being unwelcoming and raising their voice during the negotiation. The owner explained that the couple wanted to significantly lower the price, making it unfeasible for the store. Despite apologizing for reacting with a raised voice, the store couldn't accept the negative review after failing to reach a deal.
