Verizon has appointed Dan Schulman, the former CEO of PayPal, as its new CEO, effective immediately, replacing Hans Vestberg, who led the company since 2018. Schulman, who tripled PayPal's revenue during his tenure, is expected to focus on integrating Frontier Communications following its recent acquisition. Vestberg will remain with the company as a special adviser and on the Board of Directors until 2026.
