On June 22, 2024, at 5:45 AM, at the intersection of Shanxi Road and Chongde Second Road in North District, Taichung, a Shiba Inu suddenly ran onto the roadway, causing two vehicles to collide. The police later found the Shiba Inu's owner, who confessed that the dog escaped due to an improperly secured leash, leading to the accident. The Shiba Inu, the 'culprit' of the Taichung two-vehicle collision, fled the scene after causing the commotion.
