Darren Waller, the tight end for the New York Giants, has decided to retire from football. After informing the team of his retirement, the Giants had been expecting this decision prior to their mandatory minicamp. Waller, who previously played for the Raiders and Ravens, had a successful career with multiple seasons of high performance but was plagued by injuries more recently. The Giants now have several other players on their roster at the tight end position to fill the void left by Waller.
