Seoul-based startup Datumo has raised $15.5 million to improve AI safety through its data labeling and evaluation services, attracting investments from Salesforce Ventures and others. Launched in 2018, the company initially started as a data labeling service and has since expanded to offer tools that allow businesses to safely evaluate their AI outputs without requiring technical expertise. With over 300 clients including major South Korean firms, Datumo plans to use the new funding to advance research and development, particularly in automated evaluation tools for enterprise AI.
